First National of Omaha Banking on Hydrogen

First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) and its data center are now in their tenth year of being completely powered by Hydrogen fuel cells.

According to FNBO's CIO and SVP Ken Kucera "If the whole city of Omaha loses public power, we don't lose it." In the decade since this innovative data center project went live the performance has been flawless according to Mr. Kucera.

It is surprising that in ten years no other bank has followed suit and decided to use this green technology that is both efficient and reliable. Currently there are only a handful of data centers running their critical operations on Hydrogen fuel cells.

This ten year track record shows that Hydrogen fuel cells are not only a viable solution for data centers but also for other critical business operations given its proven reliability.
